Internet Explorer is Immediately Evil

It's official - Internet Explorer is evil.

Many were surprised when in the MSN Slate eZine Paul Boutin recommended that windows users ditch IE and use Firefox. You just don't expect to hear that from a Microsoft company.

Firefox is a web browser based on Mozilla, that is developed under an Open Source License.

At the same time Microsoft has released an "emergency configuration update" for IE as it's vulnerabilities are the cause of some serious exploits that have recently happened.

The Download.Ject attack is one of the cases where a major vulnerability exploited by an attack in the wild has not already been patched by Microsoft days, weeks or months before the exploit code emerged.

Abandon Intenet Explorer NOW! It is evil and will make your life a misery.

I personally dispise Firefox. I reach most of my sites from hughhewitt.com, Using Firefox, half of the time, I get just blank. Deleted Firefox presto chango NO PROBLEM.

That's curious. I just used Mozilla to view hughhewitt.com with no problem at all, just the same way I've not experienced a problem viewing sites for the last 3 years with Mozilla.

I wonder what version you were using?

Was it added to a blocklist in a web proxy you were using?

Anyhow, the point of the article is that IE is just not safe to use. Mozilla and Firefox are.

I love firefox. I've been using it for over a year now (Opera before that). i don't even have problems with internet banking sites. The only sites looking a little funny on in Firefox are some of the microsoft's own (non standards compliant) sites. Funny that!
